Show Sen. Vargas What Foreclosure Feels Like

Show Sen. Vargas What Foreclosure Feels Like

UPDATE: We won! A strong Homeowner Bill of Rights was signed into law on July 11, 2012. All Democrats in the California Legislature supported it, including Sen. Vargas!

Sen. Juan Vargas is chair of the CA Senate Banking Committee and a key vote on the Homeowner Bill of Rights. He's deciding whether to side with the Big Banks or with the millions of Californians who have or will be foreclosed upon.

Hundreds of Courage members have flooded his office with calls demanding he support a strong Homeowner Bill of Rights. But he still doesn't get it. So we thought we could help him understand how it feels to be screwed over by the Big Banks and lose his home -- just like 360,598 people the counties he's supposed to represent.

Will you chip in $10 right NOW to help us put hundreds of "Foreclosed?" signs you see at the right on his front lawn in San Diego? We're going to invite the media and make sure all of his constituents know to ask which side he is on.
