YES, Courage Campaign should push for major reform of California's prison-industrial complex

Working with our partners, Courage Campaign member-activists stopped Gov. Brown's immoral, irresponsible prison expansion plan, but there is much more work to do. Every penny California saves by reforming our vast, wasteful, inhumane prison system will be a penny it can instead spend on education, job training, and infrastructure. Courage is member driven, so we need to know if you support this work going forward.

If you believe that Courage should devote more resources to fighting for increased rehabilitation and education of inmates, more rational and humane sentencing, and the opportunity for inmates to earn shorter sentences through good behavior, please make a small contribution on the right. Our staff is devoted to prison reform because it is inherently connected to our progressive values, but you need to tell us if you agree.
