As community activists and civil rights attorneys, they have fought tirelessly for voting rights, access to legal services, early childhood education, racial justice and a more inclusive democracy in California and nationwide. Connie Rice of the Advancement Project will present the awards.
BRUCE ARENA has led the LA Galaxy to four MLS championships and is one of the most successful coaches in U.S. soccer history. When Bruce hired Robbie Rogers in 2013, he also made history as the first coach in any major league U.S. men's sport to hire an openly gay athlete. Robbie Rogers of the LA Galaxy will present the award.

Set in the historic ticket concourse at Los Angeles Union Station (800 N. Alameda Street), the event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and hearty hors d'oeuvres (no sit-down dinner) followed by the awards program at 7:30, emceed by Mario Solis-Marich, and dessert to follow.
