Hold Gov. Brown Accountable for this Disgrace

Governor Brown just VETOED the LIFE (Lifesaving Intelligent Firearms Enforcement) Act. He chose to put craven political considerations above the safety and well-being of California’s more than 38 million residents.

With over 1,146 Californians dead from gun violence since the Newtown massacre, the idea that California's current gun laws are sufficient is pathetic. Next time there is a murder with an assault weapon, the Governor will have blood on his hands. This is the kind of cowardly behavior we expect from politicians in Washington, not California.

This fight is not over. Courage Campaign will hold Gov. Brown accountable for kowtowing to the gun lobby.

Please donate so we can make sure Gov. Brown hears your voice, as we share the stories of Californians lost to gun violence and educate him about the value of gun safety.
